I was recently researching various credit card processing services that are available online to allow for acceptance of credit card payments.  It can be almost shocking some of the rates that they charge you as a business owner per transaction.  It varies depending on your product, and can get very high if your product is considered high risk for whatever reason.  Anyway, it was a great service, this review site mentioned above because it allowed me to compare at a glance user feedback and rates to help choose the best service provider.  There is no doubt that allowing credit cards for payment will help make it easier to increase customer volume but there is no reason you should pay through the nose either.
