Brush your teeth- avoid tooth repair later
When a child turns 3 he usually has a “mouthful” of teeth – up to 20, so it is about the right time to start maintaining oral hygiene: brushing teeth but without toothpaste, just with a toothbrush. Fluoride contained in the toothpaste may cause spots on teeth enamel of small children, there are though toothpastes specially designed for kids, they do not include fluoride. However, a two year old child does not yet know what it means to spit and will swallow everything that is no good for his health. Make sure a child brushes his teeth twice a day: mornings and evenings. Make it a kind of game or persuade him that only adults do that so he is growing up. You may as well purchase a nice and funny toothbrush and a stopwatch. Although in a course of several years some teeth are going to fall out, still there are those that will grow with your child and he needs to preserve them healthy. it will be a hassle when on the later date he would need to focus on teeth repair because he didn’t brush them earlier in his life.
