I had this inclination to try cruising since my younger days.  My mind was so engrossed on this fancy that even in my deep slumber, I oftentimes had nightmares about it.  But with the passage of time, what was once a dream that unlikely may never be- came true.  Why?  Because just about a week ago, I found myself on a Last Minute Cruise from Valparaiso.  I had the biggest surprise of my life for while on board, I discovered the ships’ interiors remarkably beautiful- its designs were magnificent! My parents offered my wife and I a pleasure trip to any place of our choice.  Not only did they pledge to cover both our fares in going to and fro, we were further assured of an amount which we deemed to be more than sufficient to defray all incidental expenses relative therewith.   At first, we were reluctant to grab the offer considering the high costs of the supposed trip but after much prodding from them, we ultimately gave in.  The growing, by leaps and bounds, of the recent popularity for cruising somehow awakened our curiosity thereby making us decide of giving it a try!  Hence, we took a cruise on the Carnival Liberty from Miami.  After we got on board the ship, we made a tour around to familiarize and to know what it had in store for us.  We were overwhelmed with great excitement then since we were bereft of cruising experiences.   In our brief inspection, we found the interiors remarkably beautiful- the magnificence of the designs were truly spell-bounding!  There was a line of restaurants that catered the different food preferences of the guests.  The recreational facilities and superb amenities were always available to use.  Attendants were also strategically in placed to ensure prompt service.  When our stroll began to take its toll, we went to our cabin to rest.  As we lay on our bed, we saw through our window the stars looking down upon us- witnessing the unfolding of our intimate moments. Oh, what a perfect way to celebrate our first honeymoon!  The entire trip was infinitely fabulous!

My entire family is going to Bodega Bay California next month. We are going to all be staying at the bodega bay lodging for one full week. I am a bit nervous having that many people staying that close. We usually have a really good time when we get together, so it should be fun. I always get nervous when we get to many personalities together though. Not to mention one week is a very long time to all be together.

I had planned on taking a vacation.  So, a few months after receiving my retirement benefits, I went on a Cruise from Amsterdam to St. Petersburg.  Although I had no companion when I took that trip, somehow I felt I was not alone.  For how could  I when I had so much fun, more so when I befriended someone of my age whom I met at the bar while I had a few rounds of beer.  Together, we dined, took drinks, and had spas.  Certainly, the pleasant memories I got from cruising will be with me, even in my final resting place.  The travel was infinitely fantastic!

Does anything make a vacation more then a little bit of relaxation… or a whole lot of relaxation? If you think about it, the whole point to a vacation is not just to visit new locations, but also to do a little relaxation in the process so you come back properly refreshed. Last week, I sent pictures of the S Signature hotel to my husband’s cell phone. I wanted Ken to see how nice the hotel was, because we were in the process of looking for a nice hotel to stay at for our upcoming vacation to Hong Kong. About ten minutes after I sent Ken the pictures, he called me. He said that I should definitely book a room at the hotel for our vacation. He said that he really liked that the hotel offered airport transportation and tour services. I told him that I agreed. I also told him that I thought staying at such a nice hotel would make our vacation experience great.

My daughter and I just arrived at the airport a little while ago. I figured that it was time to tell her that we are going to Thailand! This is her college graduation present. I told my daughter that we are going to be staying at a really great Boutique Hotel Bangkok. She was even more excited when I told her that. I said that the place where we will be staying is close to a lot of things and that these two weeks belong to her. I said that we will do whatever she wants. She said she wants to shop.

I told my husband that the Baiyoke Sky Hotel was the one. He then surprised me. I had thought I had it all figured out. I was wrong. He told me that the better of the Four Star Thailand Hotels for our family was the Panviman Koh Phangan Hotel. He said that that one was more family oriented and more relaxing. He would go see the other tall and majestic one while touring the country. He didn’t want us to be uncomfortable for him. Yes, that one did have amazing architecture, however the more relaxing hotel was where we would stay. This made perfect sense and he was right.
