If I Could Do it Again
What I wish I would have said to him: …And if you’re going to say you’d like if you could just sleep as much as you want and not have me make snide comments, or that I wouldn’t call to make sure you’re awake to check on the kids, then I would ask you why you consistently ruin my renewed feeling from going out, with a fight. I can’t enjoy my time away, because I’m constantly worried that you’re mad at me for going in the first place, which you often are. You even said today, AFTER saying that it was fine that I was at Jen’s to fix her ice making machine, that YOU would have stayed home if the kids and I were sick. Before that you even said there was nothing I could have done anyway, but you still felt the need to get it in.
