no warm up = back pain

i was using clean and presses last night in my workout and i ended up yanking my lower trap a little. this only goes to say that i should apply what i know and i know better. i did not do any warm up sets because i was in a rush. i stopped as soon as i felt it happen and today it feels much better but it could have been alot worse. i know how to relieve back pain so that helps too. the thing is that it is very important to  make sure that you warm up the muscles.
