Symptoms of Dyslexia Found in Adults
Even though dyslexia is a neurological issue, the symptoms are somewhat different for adults than they are for children. Some of the symptoms of dyslexia found in adults include reading comprehension, focus problems and mixing up letters and/or numbers. This makes their work life very difficult as most adults do not realize they have dyslexia, but they do know they have a problem with reading, writing and spelling because people are always correcting them. In turn, they try to hide it or cover it up in order to save face. If you even suspect you or someone you know has dyslexia, get tested, or encourage the person to get tested because there are treatments that can help.
