Waterproofing to Be Completed Before Finishing Remainin Basement
At first we thought it was a leaking toilet. But, we soon found out that the water we found in our basement floor was coming from the basement walls that were sub grade. Our basement walls were seeping water from the outside and it was leaking onto the floor. We should have had our basement walls waterproofed before we finished out the bathroom. We are hiring a company to come in this week and do the entire interior basement waterproofing. Thankfully, we did not finish the entire basement before we learned of this situation. So far we are only out the sheet rock from the bathroom.
