The grand history of candles
From the start of recorded time candles have been used for everything from a light source, to religious ceremonies. Even to this very day candles are very popular, and new candle companies are popping up everyday to manufacture them. In the past candles were made with paraffin wax, and typically were not scented. Many advances in wax making technology have emerged since then. New waxes are soy based, and don’t contain any petroleum byproducts like paraffin wax does. Soy wax also can hold more fragrance oil, the stuff that makes your vanilla scented candles smell vanilla. This makes for a cleaner burning more fragrant candle. Because of these advances candles are safer, smell better, and burn cleaner.
