Asking About Pet Microchips at the Shelter
While looking at all of the pets available for adoption at my local animal shelter, one thing that I noticed was that they all came with pet microchips. I thought that this was interesting so I asked one of the shelter employees why this was the case and she told me they had the chips put into all of the animals so that they would be easy to find if they ever got lost. This made sense to me and since I ended up taking home a puppy from the shelter I am happy that they do this as knowing that my pet is micro chipped gives me piece of mind.
